Paramount Fundamentals is your introduction to the world of CrossFit and FitCamp (barbell-free). It will prepare you to reach your highest possible level of fitness. The CrossFit Fundamentals program is seven private 1:1 sessions and the FitCamp Fundamentals program is two private 1:1 sessions. Adjustments may be made if you already have experience working out in a CrossFit environment. Everything we do at Paramount Strength & Conditioning focuses on quality of instruction, safety, technique and form; therefore, attendance in our Fundamentals program is required for entry into our regular Group Classes.
Paramount Fundamentals Program
- The Fundamentals program is curriculum-based
- Teaches basic movements, correct form, proper technique and skill development.
- Class structure includes a warm up, movement assessment, workout and stretching each session.
- The difficulty of these workouts is ultimately in your hands, the degree that you push yourself is up to you.
During the CrossFit Fundamentals sessions you will be introduced to the philosophy of CrossFit, warm-up and nutrition basics. You will also be taught the essential movements needed to safely and successfully join our enthusiastic CrossFit community. Our coaches and members alike will be cheering you on at Paramount SC!
Included in the CrossFit Fundamentals curriculum: squat, front squat, overhead squat, press, push press, push jerk, thruster, deadlift, sumo deadlift high pull, kettlebell swing, box jump, wall ball, clean and snatch. This list is not all-inclusive.
